Things have been really busy at {Think} Boutique recently! Following the success of our last Pop Up Shop in May we have decided to once again take our 'online' collections 'offline' with our latest Pop up launching on the 3rd November, just in time for the Autumn Winter season and Christmas!  It's a great way for us to spread the {Think} message as well as meet our lovely customers and get a little bit festive in the lead up to Christmas! This time we have teamed up with our friends and experts in hair and beauty at West End Hair on Great Western Road in Glasgow, setting up shop at the front of their salon, with the {Think} team getting to work last week on transforming the  front space from a former salon reception into an ethical fashion haven! 

It was a lot of hard work but the space as well as the collection are both looking amazing, with our newly installed window displays brightening up the shop front as well as the now dark and cold street outside!

We rewarded oursleves for all our hard work on opening night, enjoying some festive mulled wine with our loyal {Think} customers and showing off our lastest collection full of winter warmers and outfits that would look great at any Christmas party as well as some gorgeous accessories which will make the perfect gifts this Christmas, all of course with an ethical fashion twist!

We hope you can pop in and see us at 487 Gt Western Road, Glasgow from now until 23rd December where we will be spreading the ethical fashion love as well as some festive cheer and if you can't make it to the Pop Up Shop be sure to check out the collection online now!

{Think} Boutique will be popping up from 3rd November - 23rd December 2011 in Kelvinbridge, Glasgow.  After the success of our summer pop up we're back to spread the ethical fashion love. This season its combined with hair and beauty expertise from our favourite salon Westend Hair!  The team at Westend Hair are experts in precision hair cutting, styling and colouring using sumptuous Aveda products making this Pop Up a shopping experience with a difference.  The pop-up which will run right up to Christmas will be located in the salon and will stock our stunning Autumn/Winter collection plus some great accessories and gifts all with an ethical fashion twist. 

Of course we'll be launching in style on Thursday 3rd November with a party from 6-9pm. Come along and treat yourself or start the Christmas shopping early at a night of fashion, fizz and fun and some Christmas sparkle!

We can hardly believe it but it has been a whole year since {Think} Boutique launched in style at our glitzy Glasgow launch. The fashion show, pop up shop and party that night seem like a fabulous dream now!

It has been an amazing first year from photoshoots to the summer pop up shop via establishing links with organizations like Fashioning an Ethical Industry we look back on our year with a great sense of achievement and enjoyment and look forward to what the next year will bring!

We took some really lovely shots of the clothes throughout the year, from studio to swimming pool our varied locations created great days of photography working with amazing teams on every shoot and of course we always had behind the scenes shots, these are some of our favourites....

 

 

 

 

 

 

Part of the remit of {Think} Boutique has been to help spread the word about how fashion can be ethically sourcedFashioning An Ethical Industry conference. When our first spring summer season arrived we decided to take our online ideas 'offline' and the Think Boutique summer pop up shop was opened for the month of May in Glasgow's Argyle Street. What a month it was! We had an amazing time getting to know our lovely neighbours and sharing the collection with the people of Glasgow! It was fab and we plan to pop up again very soon!

 

Of course our year has only been made possible by you, the loyal {Think} Boutique customer. Whether we've met you through the Pop Up Shop, the talks we gave or the lovely places we took the collection to like Say No to Plastic, Eco-Monkey and Bold Souls or its been a virtual chat online. We've loved receiving great feedback, and even if we haven't met face to face yet we have loved sending our pieces all over the UK and beyond!

Well we're off to crack open the fizz, have a piece of birthday cake and get going on our next fantastic fashion year! We look forward to sharing it with you!

We are so very excited about our first Think Boutique Pop Up Shop! We are taking over 1060 Argyle Street in our home city of Glasgow for 6 weeks between 22nd April and the 31st May to showcase our gorgeous new Spring/Summer ethical fashion collection.

As Christmas fast approaches the invitations start to arrive for all those party nights and Christmas dos! We don't know about you but the first thing that we think about about here at {Think} HQ when an invite lands on mat is 'what will I wear?'

Having several occasions plus the big day itself to plan for, it makes sense that any purchases you make in aid of the festive season are versatile and will stand the test of time! That's why this Christmas at Think Boutique we will be adding a Tara Starlet party dress to our wardrobe.

Shop the Tara Starlet collection on {Think} Boutique

So we did it... Think Boutique launched in style on Friday night!

The unit we used for the launch was completely empty, (not even running wateror electricity) so it was no mean feat to convert it into the stylish venue it became for the night! Thanks to our amazing team of family and friends who were there first thing on the day of the launch unloading and setting up everything from lights, generators, glasses and tables to fabric and wood for the changing room area and of course all the lovely stock.

    

An amazing structure made out of wood donated by Glasgow Wood Recycling became the backstage area with strips of black and yellow tape forming the catwalk. The bar area and pop-up shop took their places against the huge glass windows - the once deserted unit was shaping up for a party!



So all the hard work over, it was time to enjoy the party. DJ Affi Koman kicked the evening off as guests began to arrive. 



The lucky ones got a fantastic goodie bag packed with ethical lifestyle products.



Revellers browsed the pop-up shop with a glass of Fairtrade/Organic wine or some delicious Angel Organic lager and a yummy canape from the 1901 Deli.






As darkness fell the ethical fashion show got under way with all our gorgeous models looking good and strutting their stuff like professionals in a selection of pieces from the {Think} Boutique collection! 















The collection got a great reaction from the crowd!

It was an amazing night, a fitting way to mark the beginning of things to come for {Think} Boutique, I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did! Until the next party!
